You can mark or check 90° and 45° angles, or use the pivot point aligned with the angle scale to set any angle between 10° and 90°. Dual inside and outside scales are measured from the edge of the butt, with built-in centre marks for 15mm and 18mm – the most common widths of MDF and other sheet materials. The outside scale is particularly useful for a wide range of machinery tasks such as checking router cutter heights, measuring for kitchen cupboards, furniture making, squaring your bandsaw, general machine setup, and guiding 90° cuts with a circular saw.
