Shipping & Delivery

Are the products I have ordered delivered directly to my door?

Yes, the products are delivered to any street address in South Africa by our courier company.

What are the delivery fees?

For orders over R1000, delivery anywhere in South Africa is free (excluding “Collection Only” industrial machines). For orders under R1000, there is a flat rate of R100.00.

How do I track and trace my order?

Once your goods are dispatched, we will email you a confirmation with your tracking number. To track, log on to Tools4.co.za and click Track and Trace. Enter your tracking number to view the latest status. You can also check your orders via the Account section.

Do I personally have to sign for my products?

If it’s inconvenient to sign yourself, please nominate someone else and inform us who will sign for your order.

What is the delivery time for my order?

Orders usually leave Tools4 within 3 working days of payment. Average courier delivery time is 3 working days. Most deliveries are completed within 6 working days total. Any delays will be communicated immediately.

What happens if my shipment is lost?

All shipments are fully insured. If lost, we will replace them free of charge as soon as possible.

Collection Only Products?

Some industrial woodworking equipment is available on a Collection Only basis. This is clearly marked, but feel free to contact us for clarification.

Returns / Refunds / Cancellations

Can I return my products?

If your order arrives damaged or parts are missing, contact us within 7 days. We’ll arrange replacements and may ask you to return the damaged goods in their original packaging.

Do you offer refunds?

We replace missing or damaged products but are unable to offer refunds.

An item is missing from my order

Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. We’ll send the missing item immediately.

Can I cancel my order?

You may cancel before payment is made with no obligation. After payment, the order is binding.

Returns Policy

An item is incomplete
  • Notify us within 30 days.
  • We’ll arrange collection and send you a complete item at no cost.
An item is damaged
  • Notify us within 30 days.
  • We’ll arrange collection and send a replacement at no cost.
Item specifications differ from website
  • Notify us within 30 days.
  • We’ll arrange collection and send the correct item if available.
  • If no equivalent is available, we will issue a refund.
The wrong item was ordered
  • Notify us within 7 working days.
  • Return at your expense or request a courier (charged).
  • Item must be unopened, undamaged, in original packaging, with all accessories.
  • A 10% handling fee applies, plus outbound freight if shipped for free.

Warranty and Repairs

My tool is broken within the warranty period
  • Notify us immediately.
  • Return the tool to our offices (preferably in original packaging).
  • We’ll send it to the supplier for assessment and repair.
My tool needs repair outside the warranty period
  • Notify us immediately.
  • Return the tool to our offices.
  • We’ll get a repair quotation for your approval.

Payments

Payment options

We accept Credit Card and EFT. Contact us for alternative arrangements.

EFT payment clearance time

Within 48 hours for South African banks.

Proof of payment

Not required, but speeds up processing. Email to payments@tools4.co.za.

Credit card payment clearance time

Usually within hours via Mygate.

Imported Products

Which products are imported?

Products marked with a red “Imported!” flag.

Delivery time for imported products

Usually 10–20 working days from cleared payment.

Extra costs for imported products

No, all costs are included in the listed price (including VAT).

Cancelling imported product orders

You can cancel before payment clears. After payment clears, cancellation is not possible.

Ordering normal and imported products together

Orders ship together once all items are received, which may delay the normal products.

Why do imported product prices change?

They are affected by currency exchange rate fluctuations.

What are Bench Marks?

Reward points redeemable as discounts on future purchases.

How to earn Bench Marks

Earned with each purchase or by reviewing a product.

Do Bench Marks expire?

No, as long as your account remains active.
