The Axminster Workshop AW118CI is a stand-alone, unpowered cyclone dust collector/interceptor designed to improve workshop dust management. It utilises the cyclone body and waste bin from the Craft AC118CE Cyclone Dust Extractor, providing reliable separation of wood waste from the airflow.

When paired with a High Volume Low Pressure chip extractor, this unit is capable of handling even fine dusts from demanding machines such as drum sanders. It can be used to upgrade an existing bag filter extraction system or placed directly next to a sander to intercept fine dust before it reaches the extractor.

With a generous 118L waste bin and castors, the AW118CI offers easy mobility and extended use between emptying cycles. It is fitted with 100mm inlet and outlet ports, compatible with many common woodworking machines. For best results, we recommend pairing it with a chip extractor of at least 1.5hp, such as the AW82E model. Please note, this cyclone is not suitable for use with High Pressure Low Volume (vacuum) type extractors and requires dust bags sized 785mm x 940mm.
