The cast iron sanding table offers a ground top surface for smoothness and includes a slot to accommodate the supplied mitre fence. This unique mitre fence provides two faces at 90° and enables left-hand and right-hand 45° bevels without any need to reset the fence, which saves time and improves accuracy during angled sanding. The table tilts from 0° to 45° and locks securely on both sides to support bevelled workpieces firmly. Efficient dust extraction occurs through a 63 mm outlet, and the sander comes supplied with a 450 mm length of flexible hose for straightforward connection to a vacuum extractor or similar system. Overall, the AW300DS delivers a solid, weighty, and stable platform that excels at sanding to a line and handling similar precision tasks. Self-adhesive abrasive discs in a wide range of grits fit the disc easily, and you can remove them complete with their glue by gently warming them with a hot air gun or hair dryer. Please note that this machine is designed and manufactured specifically for sanding wood and similar materials; operators must not use it to abrade or grind metal.
