The Makita DC18SE 14.4/18V LXT Automotive Charger allows users to charge their power tool batteries conveniently while on the road or at a job site. Simply plug the charger into a car’s DC power outlet or cigarette lighter socket to charge 14.4V and 18V LXT Li-ion slide-type batteries. The charger features an optimum charging system with active current control, active thermal control and active voltage control, along with two-way communication via CPU chips between the battery and charger for safe and efficient charging. It also supports Ni-Cad and Ni-MH batteries when using the optional adapter (not included). With fast charging times ranging from 30 minutes for smaller batteries up to 130 minutes for 6.0Ah batteries, this automotive charger keeps your tools ready for use without returning to the workshop.
