The innovative POWERSTACK™ technology delivers up to 50% more power than the DeWalt DCB183 2.0Ah cylindrical cell battery, enabling faster application speeds and improved tool performance. Furthermore, the battery offers up to twice the lifespan and up to twice the runtime in demanding applications compared to the DCB183, helping reduce downtime and maximise productivity.
The compact battery footprint is approximately 25% smaller than the DCB183, making it ideal for applications where manoeuvrability and reduced weight are important. In addition, the impact-resistant rubber overmould protects the battery during tough job site conditions, while the integrated three-LED fuel gauge provides a clear indication of the remaining battery charge.
Thanks to its advanced pouch cell construction, the battery generates less heat and lower internal electrical resistance than conventional cylindrical cell batteries. Consequently, it maintains higher voltage under load, delivers more consistent power, and experiences fewer pack shutdowns during demanding applications. The DeWalt 18V XR POWERSTACK™ Battery is fully compatible with all DeWalt 18V XR cordless tools and XR chargers.
