D-Tech STD Diamond Blade, Segmented, D230mm X B22.23mm | DT20230-3.

The D-Tech STD Diamond Blade, with a diameter of Ø230mm and a bore of Ø22.23mm, is specifically designed for cutting concrete, brick, paving, and other building materials. This segmented diamond blade, commonly referred to as a dry cut blade, excels in dry cutting applications. Its innovative design incorporates segments and cut-outs (gullets) in the blade body to facilitate airflow, which effectively cools the blade during use. This design not only enhances the cutting performance but also improves the clearance of debris, resulting in a faster cut with a relatively smooth finish, although some chipping may occur. Additionally, segmented blades are particularly advantageous when water is not available, providing durability and a longer lifespan compared to standard blades.

Features & Benefits:

  • Segmented Design: Optimizes airflow to dissipate heat and improve cutting performance.
  • Durable Construction: Offers a long service life, even under demanding conditions.
  • Enhanced Debris Clearance: Allows for quicker cuts while maintaining a smooth finish.
  • Dry Cutting Capability: Effective for applications where water is not available.

Specifications:

Order Number: DT20230-3
Diameter: 230mm
Bore: 22.23mm
Style: Segmented
Max RPM: 6,600 rpm
Use: Concrete, brick, paving & building materials

Extra Info:

  • Make multiple shallow cuts instead of a single deep cut for optimal results.
  • Do not side grind a cutting blade to maintain its integrity.
  • Ensure the blade is fitted in the correct rotation direction to avoid reduced performance and lifespan.
  • If the blade becomes glazed, it feels smooth to the touch with little to no diamonds exposed; rectify this by making shallow cuts in a soft, abrasive material like limestone.
  • A short diamond blade life can result from using a blade with a soft metal bond on abrasive materials such as sandstone or asphalt.
  • Wet cutting can significantly extend blade life.

Scope of Delivery:

  • 1 x D-Tech STD Diamond Blade, Segmented, D230mm
