The Dremel Versatip (2000-7) is a versatile, cordless butane soldering tool designed for precision and portability. Powered by liquid butane gas (not included), it provides instant heat-up for open flame use and approximately 25 seconds when using tips. With a variable temperature range from 550°C (tips) to 1200°C (open air), it enables fine adjustments to suit a wide range of applications including soldering, pyrography, hot cutting, heat embossing, paint removal, and welding.
The integrated Piëzo ignition trigger ensures quick start-up, while a safety lock prevents accidental ignition. For prolonged tasks, the flame lock maintains a steady flame without the need to hold the trigger. The tool delivers between ±45 to ±90 minutes of continuous operation per tank, depending on flame size and use. Refilling is fast and straightforward, requiring only a few seconds, and the transparent tank design allows easy monitoring of fuel levels.
To support a variety of projects, the kit includes seven accessories such as a soldering tip, hot knife, cutting knife, shaping knife, pyrography tip, wide flame head, and hot air tip. A protective cap ensures safe cooling and storage, while additional items like a soldering sponge, tin, and storage case provide a comprehensive solution for creative and repair work.
