Why the huge price difference? Is it too good to be true?

Not at all. As you know the Hitachi range of power tools has been rebranded and its full line of power tools will carry the name Hikoki. Due to this rebranding, prices have dropped drastically to sell out the Hitachi branded power tools.

The rebranded products will have the same product codes, same spare codes, and same accessories codes – it is simply the brand name that has changed.

Further to this, Hitachi branded batteries and chargers are fully compatible with Hikoki branded cordless tools and vice versa.
