Our Zinc Screws are a good choice for a wide variety of indoor projects with limited exposure to the elements. Zinc screws provide adequate rust protection and serve as an affordable alternative to our more protective Blue-Kote™ and Stainless screw varieties. Self tapping screws are specially designed for Kreg Joinery. They feature a self-tapping auger point that eliminates pre-drilling and a flat bottom head that seats flush in the bottom of the pocket-hole. All the screws utilise a number 2 square drill recess. Manufactured from the highest quality materials, our self-tapping screws have a variety of specifications to join anything from soft woods such as pine to hard woods like oak.
Kreg Screws are available in two main thread types:
Coarse thread – work best in soft woods
Fine thread – works best in hard woods
