How To Use:

Preparation:

• Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and bare. Remove any previous finishes using Libéron Wax and Polish Remover or Libéron Fine Wood Stripper.
• If the wood is to be dyed or stained, complete this step before applying the polish.
• Sand the surface with extra fine abrasive paper and remove dust with a tack cloth.

Application:

• Using a good quality lacquer brush or lint-free cloth, apply a thin coat of Libéron Clear Easy French Polish, working with the wood grain.
• Allow 3 to 4 hours for drying, then gently rub down the surface using Libéron Ultrafine Steel Wool (0000) for a smooth finish.
• Remove any dust and apply additional coats as required, following the same procedure. Typically, three to four coats are sufficient for a quality finish.

Important Advice:

• For a higher gloss finish, use Libéron Burnishing Cream after the final coat has hardened for seven days.
• Apply French polish in a warm, dust-free environment for best results.
• Always test the product on a spare surface or an inconspicuous area to ensure compatibility and desired results.
• After use, clean tools with Methylated Spirit and avoid improper disposal of residues to protect the environment.
