It is ideal for use on interior woodwork, including doors, beams, dado rails, and banisters. This remover works without damaging the original finish or patina, making it suitable for delicate surfaces. It is especially helpful for removing built-up layers of wax that cause a haze or bloom on the surface, preparing the wood for refinishing.

How To Use:

Application:

1. For best results, soak a pad of Ultra Fine Steel Wool (Grade 0000) in Wax and Polish Remover and squeeze out the excess.
2. Work on small areas at a time, gently washing the surface in the direction of the grain where possible.
3. Allow a few minutes for the product to work, then use a clean lint-free cloth to wipe off the old softened wax.
4. Repeat this process until all the old wax is removed.
5. Allow the surface to dry completely for 24 hours before refinishing.

Important:

• This product may damage newly applied French polishes, lacquers, varnishes, and sealers. Always test on a spare surface or inconspicuous area for colour, compatibility, and the desired result.

Precautions:

• Wear suitable heavy-duty gloves.
• Do not pour into plastic containers or use on plastic or vinyl surfaces.
• Dispose of used steel wool and cotton cloths outside to avoid any vapour build-up and fire hazard.
• Do not use on water-based varnishes.
