Users can tie rebar either in continuous actuation mode by holding the trigger, or single actuation mode by pulling the trigger individually.

In addition, the tying strength is adjustable across six stages to match different wire conditions, and the tool is compatible with Makita 18V LXT batteries and XPT water-resistant standards. The φ0.8 mm annealed tie wire dedicated for the DTR180 is easily loaded through the simple reel cover mechanism, and the included hex wrench is stored on the tool for convenient maintenance of the tie wire path.

The main switch features an auto power-off function, starting operation only when the trigger is pulled. The ergonomically designed handle with sure grip ensures user comfort, while the belt hook provides easy carrying.
