Metabo’s smallest 18 V combi drill, the SB 18 L BL, delivers powerful brushless performance for standard drilling and screwdriving applications. Its extremely short, lightweight design supports comfortable handling when working overhead or in tight spaces, while the robust die-cast aluminium gear housing provides durability. The drill delivers up to 28 Nm of soft torque and 65 Nm of hard torque, with adjustable torque from 0.5 to 9 Nm for controlled fastening. Two no-load speed ranges of 0–500 and 0–1,700 rpm accommodate different tasks, while the hammer drill function delivers up to 25,500 impacts per minute for masonry drilling. Drilling capacities reach 13 mm in masonry and steel, and 40 mm in softwood. Meanwhile, the efficient brushless motor supports long battery pack runtime, and overload protection protects the motor from overheating. An integrated LED work light with afterglow illuminates the work area, while the belt hook and bit case can attach to either side. Furthermore, this mobile workshop kit includes two 18 V 2.0 Ah LiPOWER batteries, an SC 36 charger and a comprehensive accessory assortment covering drilling, screwdriving, socket work, measuring and marking. A plastic carry case provides storage and transport, and CAS compatibility allows you to share 18 V battery packs and chargers across participating brands.
