The Metabo SB 18 LTX-3 BL I Metal is a powerful three-speed cordless combi drill designed for demanding metalworking applications. It delivers maximum torque of 65 Nm in soft applications and 130 Nm in hard applications, with adjustable torque from 1 to 18 Nm for controlled fastening. Its powerful chuck automatically re-tightens to counter bit slippage and provides a high degree of concentricity. Meanwhile, three no-load speed ranges of 0–450, 0–2,000 and 0–4,000 rpm extend the application range and enable fast drilling progress, particularly in metal. The drill handles diameters of up to 16 mm in steel and 68 mm in softwood, while its hammer function delivers up to 38,000 impacts per minute for drilling in masonry up to 16 mm. The Metabo QuickPlus System enables quick changes between the chuck, bit holder, angle adapter and other compatible attachments for flexible, heavy-duty working. In addition, selectable impuls mode helps remove stubborn or damaged screws and supports spot-drilling on smooth surfaces.
