The Metabo SSW 18 LTX 550 BL delivers high power with low weight for convenient handling across woodworking, industrial assembly, tyre changes and other fastening applications. Its efficient brushless motor supports long battery pack runtime, while the 1/2" (12.70 mm) male square drive delivers up to 550 Nm of tightening torque and 840 Nm of loosening torque. Meanwhile, twelve speed/torque levels allow you to adapt performance to the task. In Automatic Power Shift (APS) mode, the tool prevents screws and nuts from falling when unscrewed and avoids overtightening during screw fitting. Overload protection protects the motor from overheating, while the cast aluminium gear housing and robust striking mechanism support a long service life under high loads. In addition, the integrated LED work light with afterglow illuminates the work area, and the belt hook mounts on either side to suit your preference. The supplied metaBOX 145 provides a practical transport and storage solution. Furthermore, compatibility with the Cordless Alliance System (CAS) allows you to share 18 V battery packs and chargers across participating brands. This tool-only version excludes a battery pack and charger.
