The Metabo WEPBA 17-125 Quick RT combines high performance with low weight for maximum productivity. Its slim handle provides control and supports comfortable overhead working, while the Metabo Marathon motor features patented dust protection and a new cooling and carbon brush system for twice the service life. Meanwhile, Tacho-Constamatic (TC) Full-wave Electronics maintain a constant speed under load for fast work progress. The M-Quick System enables tool-free disc changes at the touch of a button, and the twist-proof guard also adjusts without tools. For low-fatigue working, the Metabo VibraTech (MVT) side handle and integrated auto-balancer reduce vibrations, with the auto-balancer also helping to extend the service life of the machine and grinding wheels. A patented mechanical disc brake works with the dead man’s switch to stop the disc within two seconds of releasing the switch, even during a power cut. In addition, the Metabo S-automatic mechanical safety clutch minimises kickback if the disc jams unexpectedly. Electronic soft start, restart protection and auto-stop carbon brushes provide further operating and motor protection. For left-handed operation or cutting, you can unscrew the gear housing, rotate it in 90° steps and remount it.
