The Milescraft HingeJig™ is an innovative tool for installing door hinges and latch plates. With its self-clamping design, you can securely position the jig without screws or nails, protecting your doors from damage. This jig accommodates doors with a thickness of 1-3/8” (35mm) to 1-3/4” (44mm) and can rout hinge mortises for sizes ranging from 2-1/2” (64mm) to 4-1/2” (114mm). The built-in depth setting gauge ensures consistent results, while its padded clamp design prevents scratches. Additionally, the HingeJig™ includes templates for common latch plate sizes and a custom router bit with a ball bearing guide for smooth, clean cuts.
