It functions as two saddle squares in one: use one side to transfer precise 90-degree lines between adjacent faces, then flip it over to mark accurate 45-degree mitre lines. Additionally, the patent-pending angle guide lets you mark exact whole angles from 2 degrees to 83 degrees using evenly spaced guiding channels, ensuring consistent and reliable layout work.

Furthermore, the SaddleSquare3D™ includes four integrated rulers with finely spaced markings, aligned with physical scribing guides. These guides eliminate freehand marking by physically guiding the pencil for accurate line placement. A built-in drill bit sizing gauge also helps identify worn or unreadable imperial drill bits, making this tool a practical all-in-one solution for everyday layout tasks.
