Rustins Grain Filler Mahogany is a premium paste used to fill wood grain, creating a smooth and even surface for finishing. By preventing the sinking of finishes, it ensures a professional-quality result. The filler can be thinned with white spirit to achieve the desired consistency and applied with ease across the wood surface. It is ideal for all types of wood and can also be tinted with Rustins Wood Dye for combined staining and filling in one operation. This versatile product is compatible with all finishes and takes nails and screws once cured.

Intended Use: Filling the grain of all types of wood

Preparation: Clean wood with white spirit and fine wire wool to remove grease and wax
Application: Thin with white spirit, rub across the wood surface, and remove surplus filler
Coats: One application typically sufficient
Drying Time: 5–6 hours
Re-coating Time: Leave for 12 hours before sanding with fine sandpaper
Application Temperature: Ideally 15–25°C (59–77°F)
Shelf Life: Long-lasting when stored in a cool, airtight container
Clean-Up: Use white spirit while the product is wet
