Rustins Grain Filler Natural is an essential product for preparing wood surfaces before finishing. This high-quality paste fills wood grain pores, creating a smooth and professional-looking surface while preventing finish sinking. It can be thinned with white spirit to achieve the desired consistency and is suitable for use on all types of wood. Additionally, it can be tinted with Rustins Wood Dye, enabling staining and filling in a single step. Compatible with all finishes, this versatile filler also takes nails and screws once cured.

Preparation: Clean wood with white spirit and fine wire wool to remove grease and wax
Application: Thin with white spirit, rub across the wood surface, and remove surplus filler
Coats: One application typically sufficient
Drying Time: 5–6 hours
Re-coating Time: Leave for 12 hours before sanding with fine sandpaper
Application Temperature: Ideally 15–25°C (59–77°F)
Shelf Life: Long-lasting when stored in a cool, airtight container
Clean-Up: Use white spirit while the product is wet
