With a 60-grit stone, it delivers a finer finish compared to coarse grinding wheels, making it suitable for tool touch-ups and controlled material removal. As a result, it supports improved surface finish while still maintaining effective grinding performance.

Furthermore, the silicon carbide abrasive provides a balanced cut rate, extended wheel life and consistent results when working on High-Speed Steel (HSS), High Carbon Steel (HCS), cast iron and chilled steel. The wheel is also suitable for deburring steel and threaded rods, as well as shaping a wide range of ferrous metals including carbon steel, iron, tungsten and forgings.
