The Tormek DC-250 Diamond Wheel Coarse is engineered for fast, efficient sharpening and rapid repair of dull or damaged edges. With a grit size of 360, it removes steel quickly, making it ideal for tool shaping and initial edge restoration. Its constant shape ensures the wheel maintains a full-size diameter, providing reliable and consistent sharpening results.

This diamond wheel fits the Tormek T-8 Original, T-8 Custom, T-7, and earlier models with a 250 mm (9 7/8”) diameter wheel. It is compatible with steel, ceramic, and carbide tools and allows sharpening on the flat side of the wheel for a completely flat bevel. Although it delivers a coarse finish, the edge can be refined with a finer wheel such as the DF-250 Diamond Wheel Fine or DE-250 Diamond Wheel Extra Fine.

To protect the wheel from rust and prolong its service life, Tormek supplies 150 ml of ACC-150 Anti-Corrosion Concentrate. Add 10 ml (0.02 pints) of concentrate to 250 ml (0.4 pints) of water (~4%) when sharpening. Using water ensures a smoother sharpening surface and enhances wheel longevity.
