The Tormek Diamond Wheel 200mm - Fine is a versatile diamond grinding wheel designed for the Tormek T-4 and earlier 200 mm models. With a grit size of 600, it offers both effective steel removal and a fine finish, making it the perfect all-round sharpening solution. The wheel’s constant shape ensures it always maintains its full diameter, simplifying jig setup and repeat sharpening.

Thanks to its diamond coating, the wheel provides long-lasting durability and allows sharpening of multiple materials including steel, ceramic, and carbide. Furthermore, the design enables sharpening on both the side and surface of the wheel, ensuring users can achieve a completely flat bevel instead of a hollow grind. This is especially beneficial for knives, chisels, carving gouges, and v-tools.

For side sharpening, Tormek recommends using the MB-102 Multi Base together with the correct jig for each tool. The included ACC-150 Anti-Corrosion Concentrate should be added to the water during sharpening to protect the wheel from rust. Using water not only increases service life but also provides a smoother sharpening surface, although dry sharpening is also possible.
