The SVP-80 Moulding Knife Attachment is designed to sharpen moulding knives with ease and precision. It flat-grinds the back of the knives, allowing you to sharpen all types of profiles up to 100mm (3 7/8”) wide. With a patented design, the jig ensures even grinding over the entire knife surface, resulting in consistently sharp profiles that deliver smooth finishes in woodworking. Additionally, the attachment is capable of sharpening profiled paint scrapers to maximum sharpness.

The frame is fitted with two sliding strips that minimise friction and support steady sharpening. This allows for a secure feel against the grinding wheel, giving you clear control during use. Mounting is simple thanks to the steel plate with a magnetic insert, which features multiple holes for accurate positioning. By aligning the jig’s clamping pins with the corresponding guide holes in your moulding knife (24, 30 or 36mm spacing), you can quickly set up and sharpen a variety of knives with stability.
