The TRADEweld Auto Dark Helmet, boasting a 24-month warranty, is a cutting-edge solution for welding professionals. With an auto-darkening lens approved by ANSI, the helmet offers a viewing area of 90 x 35mm and a cartridge size of 110 x 90 x 9mm. Equipped with two arc sensors, the light state is DIN 4, and the dark state is variable shade 9-13, controlled externally. The fully automatic power on/off feature, sensitivity control, and UV/IR protection (DIN16) ensure a seamless welding experience.
Powered by a solar cell and 2 x AAA alkaline batteries, the helmet includes a low/high sensitivity control dial. The switching time from light to dark is an impressive 1/15000s, with a customizable dark-to-light transition via the control dial. Suitable for low amp TIG welding (>10 Amps DC, 10 Amps AC), the helmet also features a grinding function, low volume alarm, ADF self-check, and operates within a temperature range of -5°C to +55°C.
