These unique stainless steel UJK dogs feature a Tee-bolt, that fits into the Tee-slot on the underside of your DeWALT guide rail. Unlike the standard dogs that are referenced against the side of the rail, these dogs are hidden beneath your rail. The rail will be held very solidly and once located in the dog holes in your multifunction bench, your guide rail is going nowhere.
Using these dogs, there is never any chance of your saw cutting across other dog holes. This method of fixing your guide rail is particularly beneficial when using power tools with higher vibration levels such as routers.
They are supplied with two aluminium split collars which fit over the dog. If the workpiece you are cutting is narrow the rail can rock. These collars support the rail to stop this rocking. The dogs have a metric scale 75mm along the side. This scale is used to measure the thickness of wood and then set the collar on the dog to the correct thickness for support. A final feature is the straight knurl on the leading taper. This assists when threading the Tee-bolt (which is in the rail) to the dog.
Suitable for Multi-function and MFT benches with 20mm dog holes.
