The UJK HDF Valchromat Top is designed to provide a durable, accurate, and versatile work surface for professional woodworkers and workshop enthusiasts. Manufactured from 18mm thick Valchromat, a high-density fibreboard (HDF), it offers greater density, mechanical strength, internal cohesion, and moisture resistance than standard MDF. Furthermore, its enhanced impact resistance makes it well suited to demanding workshop environments.
The workbench top features an accurately CNC-machined grid of 20mm plain chamfered dog holes arranged in an 11 x 7 pattern. The holes are precisely aligned both lengthways and widthways, ensuring they remain perfectly square to one another. As a result, bench dogs, guide rails, clamps, stops, and other compatible accessories can be positioned with exceptional accuracy for sawing, routing, machining, and assembly tasks.
Measuring 1,102mm x 718mm, the top provides a snug drop-in fit for the UJK Multifunction Workbench Frame as well as the Festool MFT base, making it an excellent replacement for the standard Festool work surface. Additionally, a suitable finish may be applied to provide extra protection against workshop wear.
This workbench top is certified by the Pan European Forest Council (PEFC), demonstrating responsible sourcing of forest materials.
