The Tork Craft Digital Vernier Caliper is used to provide a direct reading of the measured distance with high accuracy and precision. Before using, ensure the workpiece being measured is clean and free of burrs. When measuring a workpiece in a lathe, make sure the lathe is switched off. The temperature of the workpiece should be around 20°C (68°F) for consistent results. Precision measuring tools should be kept away from magnetic areas to avoid magnetization.

How to Use a Digital Vernier Caliper:

• Close the jaws completely and switch ON the vernier caliper.
• Press the ZERO button to calibrate the digital readout.
• Select the correct measuring unit (imperial or metric).
• Open the jaws and position them on the workpiece to measure.
• Tighten the locking screw to secure the jaws.
• Switch OFF the caliper when not in use.

This method can be used to measure depth using the stem, inner dimensions using the inner jaws, and outer dimensions using the outer jaws. The digital display will flash to indicate a low battery level.

Handling and Care: Treat the inside faces of the jaws and the outside tips with care to ensure accurate readings. Clean the caliper regularly and check its accuracy periodically. Store it safely to prevent any damage.
