The Axminster Professional AP2260BS2 Belt Sander is a compact yet robust sanding machine designed for demanding woodworking workshops. Powered by a 2.2kW motor driving a 150mm x 2,260mm abrasive belt, this machine offers reliable performance and versatility for a wide range of sanding tasks.

Furthermore, the automatic oscillating belt action helps achieve a scratch-free finish while also extending abrasive belt life. The sanding belt runs on a graphite anti-friction plate, ensuring smooth and consistent operation during prolonged use.

The entire belt platen tilts through 90° from vertical to horizontal, allowing you to sand at multiple angles with ease. In addition, the precision ground cast iron table adjusts in two planes and features rack and pinion adjustment for quick positioning. The table also incorporates a standard 3/4" (19.05mm) x 3/8" (9.53mm) mitre slot to accommodate a mitre fence.

Additionally, the rotating dust hood allows easy belt changes and enables the mounting of a small sanding table for curved work applications. The welded steel stand includes a convenient belt storage cupboard, while the machine operates smoothly and quietly for improved workshop comfort.

The machine is supplied fitted with a 150mm x 2,260mm 80G abrasive belt, and the manufacturer recommends using cloth-backed sanding belts for optimal performance.

N.B. This machine requires a 16 amp supply, and the manufacturer recommends using a C Type breaker. If you are unsure, please consult a qualified electrician.
