The Axminster Workshop AW18BDS Belt & Disc Sander 230V is ideal for detailing, shaping and finish sanding on larger projects. It features a 25mm x 1,067mm abrasive belt and a 150mm x 200mm tilting belt table for profiling and finishing. In addition, the 200mm abrasive disc and 190mm x 270mm disc table are well suited to end grain work and fine-tuning angles. Both tilting tables allow precise detail work and make it easier to achieve mitres and compounds. Furthermore, the machine includes dust extraction outlets for both the belt and disc, helping support cleaner sanding when connected to a suitable vacuum extractor. Supplied with a hook and loop sanding disc and belt, plus a mitre gauge, the AW18BDS provides practical sanding capacity for larger workpieces and slightly larger workspaces. Please note that this machine is designed and manufactured for sanding wood and similar materials, and it should not be used to abrade or grind metal.
