The AW2606B Bandsaw is designed to provide dependable performance for both precise veneer slicing and resawing large timber sections. Its quiet, reliable alloy-bodied 1.1 kW induction motor drives the bandsaw via a multi V-belt, and the dual blade speed allows for optimal cutting for various tasks. The bandsaw’s strong fabricated steel frame and generously sized cast iron table ensure stability and accuracy during operation.

The cast iron table includes a standard 19mm mitre fence slot, and the quick-locking rip fence mounts solidly to the front rail, supported by twin scales that allow flexible fence placement on either side of the blade. Bearing guides enhance accuracy, while the rack and pinion system enables easy adjustment of the upper blade guide. Dust is efficiently managed with two interconnected extraction points leading to a single 100mm outlet, compatible with a suitable extractor. The bandsaw comes with a splayed leg steel stand with rubber feet and a UK-made general purpose 1/2″ x 4tpi blade, ready for immediate use.
