The ESAB Renegade VOLT™ ES 200i is a portable, cordless welding solution designed for professionals who require reliable performance in remote, offsite or hard-to-reach locations. Because it operates in Battery Mode, Mains Mode or AMP+ Hybrid Mode, it delivers exceptional versatility across a wide range of working environments.

This advanced unit runs on 6 Ah, 9 Ah and 12 Ah DEWALT® FLEXVOLT® batteries. Using four included 12 Ah batteries, the welder can burn up to 33 E6013 electrodes on a single charge under standard operating conditions. Consequently, it provides genuine independence from AC mains power while maintaining professional welding output.

When connected to AC mains power (120/230 VAC), the Renegade VOLT™ ES 200i delivers up to 200 A output at 230 V. In Battery Mode, it provides up to 140 A output, ensuring dependable performance even where power access is limited. Furthermore, AMP+ Hybrid Mode intelligently supplements mains power with battery power. As a result, it helps prevent nuisance breaker trips on smaller breaker sizes (for example 10 A or 16 A circuits) and increases available output when welding on 120 V input.

The welder features a rugged, industrial design with durable, impact-resistant housing and multiple lift points for easier handling and transport. In addition, the bright and intuitive colour-screen user interface is optimised for outdoor use, even in direct sunlight. The display includes a battery status indicator and a remaining arc time calculator, allowing operators to manage productivity more effectively.

To enhance welding performance, the Renegade VOLT™ ES 200i incorporates advanced arc features such as Hot Start, Arc Force, memory storage for welding parameters and a dedicated cellulosic mode (6010). These functions enable users to optimise arc characteristics based on application requirements or personal preference while maintaining high arc quality.
