Designed for internal woodwork, it enhances the natural beauty of the wood by enriching and warming the colour while offering a hard-wearing, water, and stain-resistant surface. Suitable for solid and veneered wood doors, furniture, skirting boards, worktops, and balustrades, this oil is easy to apply and maintain, ensuring excellent coverage and a long-lasting finish. Ideal for restoring and protecting woodwork subject to regular wear, it is compatible with other Rustins products, making it versatile for various applications.

Specifications:

Type: Blend of natural vegetable oils, waxes, and resins
Intended Use: Internal wooden doors and joinery
Special Features: Enhances wood colour; wear, water, and stain resistant
Preparation: Wood must be clean, smooth, and free from wax, dust, or contaminants
Application: Apply evenly with a brush or roller in the direction of the grain. Stir well before use
Coats: Minimum of 2 coats initially
Drying Time: 4–6 hours, depending on temperature and humidity
Re-coating Time: 4–6 hours, depending on temperature and humidity
Application Temperature: Ideally 15–25°C (59–77°F); not below 5°C (41°F)
Coverage: 20–30 m² per litre (215–323 ft² per litre), depending on wood type
Maintenance: Clean with a mild detergent solution. Refinish if the surface becomes dull or worn
Compatibility: Compatible with Rustins Wood Dye, Grain/Wood Filler, and Polyurethane Varnish
Settlement: Stir well before use
Shelf-life/Storage: Many years if stored in original sealed container in cool, dry conditions
Hazards: Flammable. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Use in well-ventilated areas
Clean-Up: Clean brushes with white spirit or Rustins Brush Cleaner
