The UJK Expanding 20mm Dog Set is designed to maximise the versatility and accuracy of workbenches fitted with 20mm dog holes. Manufactured from precision CNC-machined 303 stainless steel in the UJK workshops in Axminster, these expanding bench dogs provide exceptional durability and precision for demanding woodworking applications.
Unlike conventional bench dogs, each expanding dog incorporates the proven UJK Super Dog locking mechanism. With a simple twist of the top section, the mechanism expands to eliminate any tolerance within the dog hole, locking the dog firmly into position. As a result, the dog remains perfectly secure without movement or wobble, ensuring consistent accuracy during cutting, assembly and clamping tasks.
Furthermore, each expanding dog is supplied with the unique UJK Chamfer Ring©, which registers the dog square to the work surface while allowing it to sit flush with the tabletop. The chamfer ring also prevents the dog from falling through the hole before adjustment. For workbenches without chamfered holes, a UJK Chamfer Cutter or a router fitted with a bevel cutter can be used to create the required chamfer.
This comprehensive set includes four pairs of expanding dogs with different projection heights above the bench surface, allowing greater flexibility for a wide range of workholding applications. The complete set is supplied in a convenient Systainer Mini for organised storage and easy transport.
