The upper blade guide uses rack and pinion rise and fall adjustment, so you can set the guide quickly and accurately. The rip fence locks positively and includes a Hi/Lo auxiliary fence: use the high position for full support when deep ripping, or the low position when cutting thin section timber close to the blade.
